GIULIANO PILATI PRESENTS

THE OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK TO

STREET HAWK: RESURRECTION PROTOCOL

THE MUSIC

As Street Hawk: Resurrection Protocol neared completion, it became clear that something vital was missing — something that had always helped define the original Street Hawk television series.

The music.

From the opening pulse of Tangerine Dream’s unforgettable theme, Street Hawk was never just about speed, technology, or the machine itself. It had a sound. A mood. A sense of neon-lit momentum that made the world feel bigger, sharper, and more dangerous.

That musical identity became one of the inspirations behind this project.

I had long been aware of Giuliano Pilati’s incredible Street Hawk-inspired compositions, having first encountered his work through the Street Hawk Command Centre Facebook group and the excellent Forgotten TV podcast episode dedicated to the show. His music immediately felt connected to the spirit of the original series — cinematic, atmospheric, emotional, and alive with forward motion.

Initially, I reached out to Giuliano to explore the idea of repackaging some of his existing tracks as a companion piece for the novel. Not only was he thrilled to be involved, he immediately offered to compose brand new music specifically for Street Hawk: Resurrection Protocol.

The result was the original five-track companion soundtrack, created to sit alongside the first release of the book. Those tracks helped give Resurrection Protocol its own atmosphere and identity, capturing the emotional weight of the story while honouring the legacy of the original series.

For the expanded rerelease, Giuliano has gone even further.

Alongside the revised and reformatted edition of the novel, Giuliano has created five brand new tracks for Street Hawk: Resurrection Protocol – Part 2:

1. The Hawk Reforged
2. Impossible Is Not Enough
3. Escape Into Light
4. Faster Than Reality
5. Pursuit Protocol

These new compositions represent a major evolution in the soundtrack. Giuliano has expanded the sound, the instrumentation, and the arrangements, giving each piece its own individual atmosphere while still keeping the unmistakable spirit of Street Hawk alive.

Each track has also been released with its own cover artwork, created by Giuliano to visually reflect the mood and story behind the music. For him, the images and tracks are not separate pieces — they are two parts of the same creative journey.

Two of the new tracks also carry deliberate musical acknowledgements. Escape Into Light includes a clear tribute to Tangerine Dream’s “Le Parc,” while Pursuit Protocol draws more directly on the original Street Hawk musical theme. These references are intentional, and come from Giuliano’s deep appreciation for Tangerine Dream’s original work and the musical identity they gave to Street Hawk.

Together, the original soundtrack and the new Part 2 tracks form an expanded musical companion to Street Hawk: Resurrection Protocol — one that reflects the book’s action, emotion, legacy, and return.

I’m incredibly grateful to Giuliano for the care, passion, and talent he has brought to this project. His music has become far more than an accompaniment to the novel. It has helped shape the atmosphere of this world.

So when you open the first page, hit play.

Let the music pull you into the shadows.

Let the machine come back to life.

The Hawk has been reforged.

Now it’s time to let it ride again.
